A prototype drilling unit has been designed and constructed. The scope of work for this project iincludes upgrading the prototype unit to meet field saafety and operations standards, performing  field trials with the unit, and documenting the changes needed to create a cost effective system.

 

If funding permits and field trials are encourraging, then a Mark I drilling system will be designed and constructed. A commercial drilling contractor will be the partner for this step of the development program.
