Argonne’s just-completed report on produced water volumes and management practices in the United States, prepared by Corrie Clark and John Veil.
The report is the most current (2007 year data) and most complete compilation of the volume of produced water generated in each state and on federal lands (including offshore).  In addition to describing the produced water volume, the report gives estimates of water-to-oil  and water-to-gas ratios in different locations.  It also provides information relating to the ways in which produced water  is managed in different locations.

The team members will be reviewing our work scope and making adjustments. We will also be contacting other potential contributors to work on covering the shortfall.
