FUNdraising Stuff
Magazine orders and payments are due TODAY! Fruit and Cheesecake orders were due Friday, if you haven’t turned them in yet, please do it ASAP. Remember that payment is due with the orders. Fruit and Cheesecakes will be delivered on Sat., Dec. 5. Volunteers are needed to help unload the trucks, organize orders and help with distribution. We’ll need help from 9am to 1pm, but shorter shifts are available. Any amount of time you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Band Bucks
From Lori Reifsteck: Band Bucks this week will be on Tuesday since Thursday is Thanksgiving. I will be in the bandroom hallway Tuesday from 6:15-7 p.m. Orders placed by Tuesday will be available the following Thursday, 12/3 from 4:45-5:30. Don't forget the student account gets the entire discount till the end of December. This week's Band Buck tip: Disney is one of the retailers available with a 2% discount. Disney gift cards can be used at any of the Disney theme parks and hotels. For those going to Disney over spring break you can use Disney gift cards to purchase your souvenirs while at the park.
Movie Night
Next Mon. Nov. 30, from 4-8pm, the Band Boosters is hosting a fundraiser at the Kendall 10 theater in Oswego. A whopping 50% of the concessions sales will go to the band. Make sure you print out the coupons and share them with friends! This would be a great time to check out that new vampire movie for the first time or the tenth time!
Pep Band
On Saturday. Dec. 5, all Pep Band participants should wear a white shirt for the White Out Night. Fri. Jan. 22 is Senior Night- all senior Pep Band members and their parents are invited to be recognized.
Culvers Night
The OEHS Band Boosters will be sponsoring a Culvers Night on Tuesday, December 8. Students chose the flavor combo for the new Beasts of the East flavor: chocolate custard with chunky brownie pieces, hunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and creamy caramel swirl. Sounds divine! Coupons will be available soon.
Winter Concert
On Thurs. Dec. 10, the OEHS Bands and Choirs will take the stage for the annual Winter Concert extravaganza! Band students do not need to wear their usual black/white concert attire, but are asked to “dress up”. Please, no jeans or gym shoes, think “Sunday Best”. Report time is 6:00pm.
Jewel Shop & Share
The OEHS Band Boosters are hosting a Jewel Shop & Share event from Mon. Dec. 14- Wed. Dec. 16. Coupons will be available soon, so you’ll be able to stock up before the holidays. Print a bunch and share them with friends and family.
