Below is a short biography and information on current commitments and other activities.

 

As Chief Technical Officer of Jayway Embedded Technologies, Patrik heads the development of cutting edge systems. His expert domain is the wireless and telecommunications industry.

He has a special interest for ubiquitous computing. In particular Patrik’s attention is on the development of commercial applications, large-scale deployments, location and context-awareness, privacy, and the use of consumer devices.

Patrik earned his Ph.D. at the University of Kent. The research focused on improving privacy in context-aware systems. He strongly believes that ubiquitous computing neither must nor need to violate people's privacy.

As a consultant Patrik works with the latest technologies, assisting clients to develop leading products.
