Notes

• We will be limiting induction numbers to 50 per session; these will be allocated on a first come/first served basis. Please feel free to contact us about induction at enquiry@openchristmas.org
• We are changing some of the layout, services and policies for this year. Therefore, volunteers cannot work at the shelter without attending an induction
• On arrival at your induction, you will be asked to check in at the registration desk and have your photo ID verified
• Please bring an item of photo identification to your induction session

All volunteers, both new and experienced, must attend at least one of the inductions. Please note that all inductions will be at: St. George's Post 16 Centre, Great Hampton Row, Newtown, Birmingham B19 3JG Map

The inductions are very informal, and after registration there will be a guided tour of the premises by one of the trustees, a summary of dos and don'ts and any updates since the previous Christmas. Refreshments will be available and volunteers will be given the chance to ask questions during an informal chat.

If you have any specialist skills, such as nursing or cooking or entertainment, then please please tell one of the trustees at induction.

Refreshments will be provided and there is free on-site parking.
