Overview
With the launch of the Digital Resource Commons, OhioLINK recognizes the importance of increasing cooperation in the creation and sharing of digital collections. The DRMC facilitates that cooperation by developing a community of digitization practitioners to share expertise and resources. Membership is weighted towards library staff with hands-on digitization experience.
To perform liaison administration and submission functions, you'll need an account on the DRCDEV machine here.Initial Liaison Tasks
1. Create an administrative account on the DRCDEV test site. 2. Create a list of projects, emphasizing those items already in digital format with associated metadata. 3. Build a development testbed containing several items per project. 4. Decide the location and URL for your institution's DRC. 5. Determine any bulk submission requirements. For more information about our work, make sure to sign up for the Listserv.
