District Goals and School Board Objectives

GOAL: The NPS District will continue connecting curriculum and policies with classroom, district and state standards, .

School Board OBJ: The board will align district policies to state/CASB recommendations (i.e. re-type district policies into

              Word format)

              GOAL: NPS District will incorporate 21^st Century Skills into all educational opportunities.

             School board OBJ: The board will provide time and funding for teacher education/training on 21^st Century Skills. (i.e.

              inservice on 21^st century skills)

             GOAL: The district will continue to provide a relevant education for all students regardless of interest and/or ability.

             School board OBJ: The board will ensure all staff members have sufficient time for collaboration and any necessary resources.

             (i.e. early release for RTI.)

             GOAL: Use the existing facilities to their maximum potential.

             School Board OBJ: The board will begin long-term planning for upkeep and potential growth. (i.e. necessary maintenance

funding [roof])
