Biography 

 

 My name is Ben Bachman and it is my pleasure to serve as the A-Cor guidance counselor here at North Gwinnett.  I was born and raised in the North, graduating from high school in the state of Michigan.  My educational background begins with my undergraduate work at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina where I majored in Social Studies Education.  After moving back to Michigan to teach social studies, I completed a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  My love of working with students on a one-on-one basis led me to pursue a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama.  Currently I am working towards my Specialist in Education in Teaching and Learning from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia.  I am married to my wife Becky and we have three children:  Lauren is six years old, Daniel is four, and Jake is two.  I consider it a great honor to serve with the esteemed faculty here at North Gwinnett High School and I am pleased to be at your service.  Feel free to call or e-mail me if you need anything.  Go Dawgs!!
