Current and Upcoming NHS Events:
NEXT MEETING: JANUARY 21, 2009!
- SCRAP: We have adopted students from Samarra, Iraq who are in need of school supplies. Each adopted student needs:
- 4 Pencils
- 2 Pens
- 1 Marker Pack
- 1 Colored Pencil Pack
- 1 Eraser Pack
- 1 Spiral Notebook (100 pages)
- 1 Pack of Notebook Paper (100 pages)
- Other needed items: Tote Bags (like the "green" grocery bags), 3-Ring Binders, and Footballs and Soccer Balls.
- Check the attachment to review some of the progress happening in schools in Samarra
- Drop off your items in Ms. Carr's room by FEBRUARY 10th!
- The North Gwinnett Co-Op: The Co-Op is also looking for volunteers every Monday from 6-8 pm. This is a great way to earn service hours!
- The Animal Shelter: The shelter is more than happy to have any volunteers. Ms. Carr has copies of the necessary forms, and if you are under 18 you will need a parent signature. They are very flexible and can work with any schedule, so keep that in mind!
