*AP---Advanced Placement (normally a class geared toward second year students, however first time 10th graders are eligible to take this course as their primary chemistry class)

*CP/H---College Preparatory/Honors combination class (students enrolled in this class will be able to receive honors credit on their transcript if they complete specific additional assignments)

*Adv---Advanced (traditionally known as honors)

*Adv. Gif---Gifted (student must meet specific state criteria to be enrolled in this class)

*TT---Team Taught (resource students who will also be eligible for honors credit if they complete specific additional assignments)

*ESOL---English Second or Other Language/Sheltered (traditionally taught to students whose primary language is not English; also eligible for honors credit if they complete specific additional assignments)
