Rise of the Retrobots: Presented by TAO X Productions & Nightmare Sound Rise of the Retrobots is a unique creative audio-visual collaborative compilation of sound and vision inspired by a fascination with SciFi, technology, electronic music, robots and "Robot Oriented Music". It is a document of the transformation of the cultural/fictional/cinematic notion of Robots as seen over the last century, from the cold elegant lines of Fritz Lang's female robot in metropolis, to the tin can men of the Flash Gordon era, to Dr. Who's Cybermen, to Transformers, Bio-genetic body armor (Robot Suits), and currently, sophisticated but still eerie and all too real Japanese prototypes for consumer oriented robots, and military all-terrain electro-beasts!
