 We had our first field trip! We went to the Pumpkin Patch in Liberty. We went through the barn and fed the animals; throughout the pumpkin patch and picked our own pumpkins. We then ate lunch in a tent. Afterwards, we played in the pumpkin patch playground. Over all the children were well behaved and had a blast.Thank you to all the parents who went along with us. It made it much easier. I was sick that day and I thank the class for thinking of me and bringing home a pumpkin for me! I was proud of my class when I received possitive reports upon our return.

  We have begun saving Box Tops for Education!! The labels we save are General Mills. You can tell with the side or top of the box having the label that says "box tops for education". A sheet was sent home where you can save them. When the sheet is complete, send it in to Mrs. Simmons with your child. When your child completes the page with labels they will receive a little something from Mrs. Simmons. This is extremely helpful in obtaining much needed class room supplies. Anything you can do is helpful. |
