Homework Policy: You will not be graded on how many problems you have correct on your homework, only on whether you have completed and corrected your homework on time. Homework is how you learn the material that has been presented in class. There is not penalty for errors on homework, but you are expected to correct the errors and to seek additional help for concepts that you do not understand. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Keeping up with your daily homework and asking questions when you do not understand is the best way to master the material and to prepare for the tests. For grading, homework has the weight of one test. Everyone starts at 100% for their homework grade. Penalties are assessed if homework is not done, or if it turned in late, or if corrections are turned in late or not done. Your final homework grade will be based on 100% minus any penalties. Extra time will be granted if you have an excused absence. Normal deadlines and specific penalties are noted on the spreadsheets below.
