| Visit the Hyde Technology School Web Site Hyde Technology School is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school. About 20% of students are of Bangladeshi heritage, roughly 30% of students are entitled to free school meals. The school is a centre for students with hearing impairment. Students come from a very broad range of social and economic backgrounds and student attainment on entry to the school is notably below the national average, yet the attainment of students when students leave key stage 4 is good, and well above the national average. In 2007 76% of students achieved 5 or more A* to C grades at Key Stage 4 compared to 61% nationally. Results have increased steadily over recent years to reach this high standard.
