Guidance Staff

Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome back to school! The 2008-2009 academic year is well underway. 6th grade students are adapting to their new surroundings. 7th and 8th grade students are getting into the familiar school routine again. At this point in the year, your child should be feeling more comfortable with his/her schedule, teachers, peer group, and finding their way around the building. Academically, your child should have an effective organizational system and efficient time management skills to promote success in school. Attendance is also an important contributing factor to school success. If you have concerns in any of these areas, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or grade level counselor.

Remember that class work, homework completion, test/quiz grades, and attendance can be monitored through our X2 system. If you are experiencing any difficulties accessing X2, please contact your child’s counselor.

We look forward to a great year working with our students and their families!

Sincerely,

Bonnie Jackman, 7th Grade Counselor – ext. 262
