Nauset Bands...

The Band program at Nauset High School has a long history of successes and accomplishments in music performance and education here on Cape Cod.  Presently, there are three wind/percussion ensembles at Nauset High School:  Concert Band, the First Encounter Jazz Ensemble and our Percussion Ensemble.  Each group shares in the overall successes we have recently enjoyed at regional, national and international music festivals.  The wind/percussion program has swelled to involve over 1/10 of the overall school population.  Students in these ensembles are among the most dedicated and committed in the school. They work together to create outstanding music and have an esprit d'corps that joins them together.  In the recent past, our groups have performed at such venues as Annapolis Music Festival,  EPCOT center, The Magic Kingdom, The Berklee High School Jazz Festival, International Music Festivals, Greater Boston Music Festival as well as countless local, civic and scholastic events.

News Flash!:  Congratulations to the Nauset High School Music Department on their recent successes at the Heritage Classic Music Festival in Annapolis, MD.  Here is the press release:

The Music Department of Nauset Regional High School has just returned from a highly successful three-city trip.  They visited Annapolis, MD, Philadelphia, PA and New York City, NY from April 3rd through April 6th.  While on this tour, they participated in the Heritage Classic Music Festival that is held in Annapolis annually.
