Description of workshop:
Online coursework is finding its way into education adding a new dimension to the classroom. Using a tool called Moodle (similar to Blackboard), participants will study, discuss and apply online strategies that improve individualized learning, collaboration, and achievement. We will learn how to use the various online tools like discussion forums, online assignments, journals and quizzes. This hybrid course is a mixture of 3 face-to-face meetings with 10 weeks of online work. The final product for each participant will be an online environment for one of their classes.
