The Good Neighbor Walks are on every Wednesday. We will be meeting at the Erdman Avenue Shopping Center ( near the library) at 6:00pm. Please spread the word to the neighbors on your block. Come out and support your community. The Good Neighbor Walks will occur every Wednesday. Leave messages regarding the walks at (410) 485-5083. September is the last month for this year's Good Neighbor walk, we will resume the walks in April of 2010.

This would be financed as part of the reconstruction of the Harford Rd. bridge.
Will Doane, Northeast Planner, has promised that he will get large-scale copies to the Red Canoe, if space is available, and the Herring Run Library. Please make positive or negative comments ASAP to meet the bridge design schedule. Your input may be posted on the BECA or the NOGLI list serves and will be reviewed by the Herring Run Master Plan Advisory Committee.

Belair-Edison Community Association Meetings
Monthly meetings are held at the Herring Run Branch Library, 3801 Erdman Avenue, the first Tuesday of the month (except January and August). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. The BECA Board meets at New Life United Methodist Church, 4400 Parkside Drive, every third Monday of the month except for December. Currently the fee to join the Community Association is $5.00 per year. All members of the Association receive a community newsletter and participation in the community listserve. How about joining fellow gardeners at the Herring Run Branch of the Enoch Pratt Library for a class on Gifts From the Garden: Pest ID and Control Monday, Aug 17, 2009 (6:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.) We are looking for volunteers to participate in a Community Garden Makeover Project at Belair Road and Shannon Drive at Chesterfield on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 9:00am.
