Words won't tell the whole story. We therefore assembled over 150 views of life in our neighborhood. The visual presentation illustrates recent history in this our unique community in Dayton.
The photos show people, places, and events since 1995. They are mostly outdoor photos during warm months of the year. You will see residents and visitors, kids and families, neighbors and friends, volunteers and workers - in homes, backyards, streets, and public places. The events seen include summer picnics, backyard gatherings, annual bulk trash pickups, street planter constructions, and association meetings.
By no means does this collection represent a complete history of Mt Vernon, but it does serve to show a representative cross-section of our "common ground" life-style in this our vibrant neighborhood.
