This week finds us reading the following short stories and again, discussing characterization, symbolism, and themes: "The Possibility of Evil", "The Scarlet Ibis", and the poem "The Wreck of the Hesperus". This last assignment brings us into some work with poetic devices and more discussions on figurative language use.
