Today we're going to start working on a presentation after our 'running a castle' work. Every member of the group will be able to work on this together using Google Apps! Here's what to do:
- Go to this page and sign up for an account using your school email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@ridgewoodschool.co.uk)
- One person in your group needs to create a presentation with the name of your chosen castle as its title.
- The person that created the presentation then needs to invite the other people in the group to collaborate on the presentation.
- Each person in the group should then work on separate slides.
Your slides should include the following:
- Where your castle is and background information (1-3 slides)
- What different jobs the group members did and why (1 slide)
- What equipment the group bought for the castle and why you bought it (1-2 slides)
- How you reacted to the different seasonal events that happened (4 slides - one for each event)
- What information your envoy found out about other groups (1-2 slides)
- How successful you think you were and what you ended up with at the end of the year (1-2 slides)
You will have today's lesson and Thursday's lesson (when Mr Belshaw is not here) to complete this work. You should be ready to present to the rest of the class next Tuesday (28 April). Remember, you can login and work on this at home too! |
