The focus of this part of the course is International relations, 1945-89  You will be assessed on this in Paper 1 of the exam at the end of the course.

We shall be looking at the following:
  1. The causes of the Cold War
  2. The USA and the war on Communism
  3. Soviet control over eastern Europe

You'll find the core information for this part of the course in Chapter 6 of your textbook (p.214-258)
