Elaine has a
bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, interned at Massachusetts General
Hospital, and is certified in sports nutrition through IFA. For five years
she set up corporate and community wellness programs, and currently is an
adjunct faculty member at Worcester State College.
An endurance athlete for almost 30 years, Elaine has made the podium in
numerous events in running, cycling, and triathlons, including winning the 1991
Sri Chimnoy Marathon. Currently Elaine competes in triathlons and duathlons,
frequently posting the fastest female cycling split. Elaine has been been
coaching multisport athletes for over six years, successfully applying her
education, experience, and overall love of the sport to help people achieve
their endurance sports goals.

|  | Don Vescio A competitive cyclist for 25 years, Don has set numerous time
course records at cycling events in the United States and Canada and
has been a multiple gold medalist in New York's Empire State Games, as
well as at New York's and Pennsylvania State time trial championships.
He also has medaled in the time trial at the United States Cycling
Federations' Open and Master's championships. Currently training to
set a new master’s world hour record on the track, Don has been burning
up the bike courses on the triathlon circuit.
Don is a college
professor and vice president for technologies at Worcester State
College. He brings his years of teaching and racing experience to help
his clients achieve their goals in a flexible and supportive fashion.
Don has over twenty years of coaching experience and many of his
clients have achieved considerable success at the regional and national
level.
|  | Mike Ross Mike was a NCAA Division All-American Swimmer for Princeton University (1986-1990). During that time, he led two NCAA winning relays (1989 and 1990).
He was an American record holder in the 200
Medley Relay, a three-time qualifier for the US Olympic Trials (1988,
1992, 1996), and a member of the first United States Resident National
Team for Swimming 1994-1996.
Currently Mike competes in Master’s swimming events
and triathlon relay teams. He is the current World Record holder in 5
Masters swimming events and the current United States Masters Record
holder in 9 swimming events. As the assistant swimming coach for the
Worcester Wahoos and the Bluefish, Mike is sharing his knowledge and
enthusiasm for swimming with up and coming swimmers.

| Chris Benestad
Chris is a competitive runner and also a running coach with 11 years
experience coaching Cross Country and Track and Field. He holds a USA
Track and Field Level II Coaching Certification and also holds the
NSCA’s designation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. Chris raced at the 2002 World Duathlon Championship in Weyer,
Austria. Since focusing on running more than the bike, he has run
distances from 5k through marathon running a personal best at the 2006
Boston Marathon in 2:43:43.
Since beginning in 1996, Chris has coached track and field, cross
country, swimming, and lacrosse. He prides himself on helping athletes
of all levels reach their potential while enjoying the sport in which
they are competing.
Mike Ross, Don Vescio, and Chris Benestad teamed up for a few triathlons and have never been beaten.

| Bethany Bergemann Bethany has been
swimming competitively for more than 25 years including swimming NCAA
Division 1 for Syracuse University. She has set numerous records when
swimming for the Worcester County Swim League and when competing in the
Bay State Games. Bethany began teaching swimming 17 years ago and has
taught hundreds of people how to swim—from young babies to the elderly
and every age group in between.
For several years, Bethany has been helping triathletes
improve their performance in the swim segment of triathlons from sprint
triathlons up to the Ironman distance. A swim coach for more than 15
years, Bethany currently is the head varsity swim coach for Westborough
High School, with a record somewhere around 90 – 35 – 1. Through those
years, she has coached many individuals and relay teams to qualifying
for state championships with many placing in the top 6 at the state
championship.

| Marc Saucier
Marc has been a competitive triathlete for over 25 years and has competed in 11 Ironman Triathlons, including 3 Ironman Hawaii World Championships. In addition he represented the USA at the 2002 ITU Age Group World Championships in Cancun, Mexico and has numerous age group podium finishes in both local and national level races. Marc also has competed in other single and multisport races such as the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon, Sea-to-Summit Triathlon, the Mt Washington “Inferno” Pentathlon, Weston Winter Triathlon, XTerra Triathlons, both Mt. Washington bike and running races, and several marathons with a marathon PR of 2:59:59.
Marc has been successfully coaching both beginner and experienced triathletes for 5 years and is a Level 1 USATriathlon Coach and a Level 1 USA Track & Field Coach. In addition he is the Assistant Track Coach at Littleton HS and the Race Director for the AppleMan Triathlon.
