Welcome to Ms. Zimmerman’s Class

A Little Bit About Me:

I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. I also lived for 7 years in Orlando, Florida, before moving to Georgia to be near my retired parents.

I am a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Education from Troy State University, and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. I have post graduate work in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I have been teaching for 28 1/2 years in the first and second grade. This is my eighteenth year at Morgan County Primary.

I have a daughter and a son. My son is working in Morgan County Board office in the technology department. My daughter, and daughter-in-law are both Lead Pre-K teachers in Lawrenceville and Bogart. I have a 2 year old grandson and a new granddaughter on the way in November this year!

I am looking forward to helping your child learn and grow!!! I am excited about the new school year and I can't wait to get to know all of you. Thank you for allowing me to help your child learn.
