A Burning Man 2009 theme camp Direct from Montréal, Québec, the Black Rock Poutine Company presents an amazing Québec delicacy that has to be tasted to be believed. We combine the awesome powers of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds into the ideal late night snack. Come get some! We are a camp of (mostly) experienced burners and our big gift is steaming hot poutine on the playa every night. The camp will have a communal kitchen, evaporation pond, a 25ft tower and over 800 square feet of shade. You do your own meals, unless you eat poutine every meal that is. Camp members will be expected to work at least one or two shifts in the poutine kitchen (which is actually a load of fun). There will also be camp fees to pay for all the potatos, cheese and transportation of the deep fryer and other goods. How much the fees are will depend partially on how many members we ultimately have. The more members, the less the fees. If you want to know more, get in touch. We're a friendly bunch. We've already done poutine at Playa Del Fuego - the Delaware regional and it went swimmingly. Contact: poutine@modernduck.com Stuff of interest to camp members: |
