  • The pool heater will be switched off on Monday, November 2nd.  This last week of October is your last opportunity this season to use the swimming pool, so take advantage of it during these beautiful fall days.  The spa is heated year-round.
  • For 2010 there will be no increase in your monthly association dues of $370.  While some of our costs have increased, such as utilities, maintenance and landscaping services, we have seen decreases in our insurance premiums even with a reduced deductible for the Association’s earthquake insurance. 
  • We will soon be replacing our old pool furniture – chairs, chaises, tables and umbrella shades.  If you would like to join the pool committee, please let us know your interest by contacting one of the board members.
  • Gutters will soon be cleaned and some major pruning and thinning of trees throughout Mill Brook will be underway in a few weeks.

Recycling schedule update

The white recycle bins have often been filled to overflowing before the scheduled pickups weekly on Thursday mornings.  That is because many, unfortunately, do not flatten cardboard containers and thus use significantly more space.  We have added another pickup weekly for the recycle bins - Monday mornings.  So now both the green and white bins will be emptied twice weekly - Monday and Thursday mornings.

The board normally meets on the 4th wednesday of January, April, July and October to review the financial status of the association, make decisions about repairs, approve expenses and resolve any issues which arise from the association or its members. Homeowners are welcome to attend board meetings to learn about Association issues, make requests, ask questions or simply observe the proceedings.
