 God's Shining Stars

2009 Mid-American Baptist Women's Ministries
Annual Conference
July 10-12, 2009
Wartburg College, Waverly IA

Kristy Engel, American Baptist Missionary to the Dominican Republic will be with us to share of her life and her ministry. She uses her nursing and education skills in working with the Good Samaritan Hospital in La Romana.   Kristy will help us experience the mission work that is so much a part of her life by introducing us to the sights and sounds and people of the Dominican Republic.

Rev. Ruth Yeaton will teach and inspire us with a study from the Book of Philippians as we seek to be “God’s Shining Stars”.  Ruth is currently the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charles City but has been serving churches in our region for many years.  She is well known to all of us as she is our region’s Coordinator of Personal Development and part of the Mid-ABWM board.  Ruth says, “Read Philippians! in preparation for conference, and bring your Bible to the Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday sessions”.
