Professional Development and Student Success

When professional development is ongoing, is directly linked to the curriculum and instruction, and is undertaken collaboratively and collegially, it makes a difference. In other words, when professional development is integrated in to the educational work of the institution, and is defined as part of the professional responsibility of teachers, professional learning is connected to student learning and, ultimately, to student success.
