PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Director, Career, Technical, Adult Education, and Technology Integration. Mecklenburg County Public Schools. October 2003 – Present. Directs all Career and Technical Education, Adult Education, GED Testing, and Technology Programs. Provide assistance to teachers and administrators in the selection, purchase, and utilization of curriculum, materials, and equipment, and provide professional growth and development opportunities that lead to continuous improvement of all coordinated programs. Assist in implementing the latest technology into all programs in order to utilize more efficient and effective teaching strategies and methods. Manage authorized testing centers and serve as testing coordinator for Pearson/VUE, Certiport, and the National Sales and Service Organization to provide on site assessment for local students. Manage Mecklenburg County Public School’s internet web site. Supervise and evaluate 11 employees in the Career, Technical, Adult Education and Technology Integration Department.
