MCPS Technology and Career Education: "Connecting Our Schools with the World"

Its Technology Time Somewhere!

"Welcome to the Department of Technology and Career Education for Mecklenburg County Public Schools. Our technology integration objective is to provide and maintain an environment where technology assists students, teachers, and administrators in accomplishing their goals. Students enrolled in the Mecklenburg County School Division live in a technology- oriented environment. Technology provides them the opportunity to access and manage information and communicate in ways never before possible. Strategic placement of technology into classrooms will transform the dynamics of instruction and learner performance. The presence of computers and other technology related devices will continue to redefine the concepts of learning. Our school division recognizes that experience with current technology provides the knowledge needed today as well as the foundation for the essential skills of tomorrow.
