Attention Teachers and Staff:
 
Great News!
 
The migration from our old  system to the new Meck Mail system has been completed. 
 
The original two week process was done over the weekend of June 13-15th.  48 Hours! Way to go Chad!
 
However, we were required to reset every users password in order to complete this process.
 
The Technical Support Specialists traveled to each school and assisted Principal's and 12 month employees with login procedures. This was completed on Monday, June 16th.
 
Information on this system was presented to the Mecklenburg County School Board on June 16, 2008 at their regular monthly meeting.
 
Even though the system is operational, we will continue to test the system throughout the summer. Please be patient with us during this time.

 Trouble Ticket System Information:
 
There were minor changes to the trouble ticket system.
 
Everyone's user name has changed from meck.k12.va.us to mcpsweb.org
 
(My user name changed from econner@meck.k12.va.us to econner@mcpsweb.org.
 
There were no other changes to this system.
 
YOUR PASSWORD DID NOT CHANGE ON THIS SYSTEM.
 
 
  

 
 
 
HOW DO USERS GET THEIR NEW USER NAME AND PASSWORD?
 
Option 1:
 
E-Mail Ernie Conner at econner@mcpsweb.org using your personal email account such as yahoo, hotmail, etc.  Your new user name and password will be emailed to you at that account.
 
Option 2:
 
Call Ernie Conner at the Mecklenburg County School Board Office to request your new user name and password. Please leave your name and phone number on his voice mail and he will return your call and provide you with your information.
 
Option 3:
 
If you do not intend to use your Mecklenburg County Schools E-Mail account until you return in August, you will not need to do anything. We plan to have a team of trainers to assist you in accessing your account and changing your password at that time. Training will be provided at every school on August 26, 2008.
