MarsCon 2009

Are you raising the next generation of fandom? If so, take part (with your children, of course) in Marscon's family programming. Past years have seen plenty of family friendly programming, including "Zap" (the Van de Graaf generator that was the "hair raising" hit of Marscon 2006), kid friendly musical entertainment, arts and crafts, and the "Land of 10,000 Lego Bricks".

For more info or to volunteer, please contact our Children's Programming Coordinator at children@marscon.net.

Please note, Children's Programming is not a daycare/babysitting service. All little martians who attend childrens events must be accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian. MarCon cannot accept the potential liability incurred by being responsible for children.

Family Programming at MarsCon 2009

The following are being planned for this years Con! We shall have several Storytellers throughout the weekend to help entertain the children. On Saturday we have a heavy schedule of kid friendly entertainment. Legoland will return. There will be a workshop where the kids can make their own "Steam Punk" goggles. There will be Anime and Cartoons that are children friendly. There will be a "Steam Punk" Carnival complete with a traveling Mad Scientist, a Juggler and a Face Painter.

If the little ones can stay up late enough on Saturday, Coyote Run is a Family Friendly band.

On Sunday we will be having a Belly Dance lesson and Poisoned Dwarf.

It will not be a boring weekend!
