Malmo is located immediately adjacent to the Southgate LRT Station (opening 2009) and Bus Transit Centre.
While construction is underway, the transit centre has been relocated
(map) immediately north of 51 Ave in Pleasantview.
Apart from the many buses/LRT available at Southgate Transit Centre, the following bus routes go through or by Malmo:
Route 30 (west and south to Riverbend)
Route 33 (east to Mill Woods or west to West Edmonton Mall)
Route 51 (north to University)
Southgate Transit Centre to Downtown during peak hours (LRT opens in 2009):
Take
Express Route 17, 40, 41, 42, 45, 50 to Downtown OR
Take Express Route 792 displaying “NAIT” and “via MacEwan”
departing from bus stop #2215 at Southgate Transit Centre (7:15 am and
7:22 am departures).
