The Board is proceeding with plans to remove the old tennis courts and obtain a solution to fit our budget for this project. The original plans had to be revisited when the funds available ($100K) for this project covered only about 20% of projected expenses.   For more info see Sand Sports at Malmo.

Saturday May 10 2008. Picture at right, foreman Eric and junior apprentice Alex swaying in the wind 20+ ft up a pole replacing lights.   An angel named Rose came and kept us nourished.

This May & June will be busy months as we get our gloves dirty bigtime.   The old tennis courts have to come out and get replaced by the new multi-use sand sports and turf facility.   Join us for some evening and weekend frolic in the dirt!   Contact Eric Fadden (436-2950 ericfadden at shaw.ca) to sign-up and leave your mark.   Contributors' families will receive free Malmo memberships for 2008/2009, plenty of food and beverages, and great camaraderie as we work and play in the mud.

Mason Sand - is classified as a fine aggregate meeting ASTM C 144 for masonry mortar. It is washed and double screened to be a finer sand and is lighter in color then torpedo sand.

USES: mortar mix for masons, bunker sand for golf courses, beach sand, volleyball courts, under vinyl swimming pool liners.
