Community Volunteer Eric Fadden rolled up his sleeves and set his talents to work mid-December when the community was faced with a bill of over $8,500 for exterior electrical work. Eric, a master electrician, was quick to volunteer to do the work on the rink lights to repair existing fixtures and add additional ones. The total bill for Eric's expenses came to less than $740, saving the community well over $7,500! Eric and his partner Rose Ginther have demonstated their commitment to Malmo by also participating on the LRT Park & Ride, LRT Community Consultation and Golflands issues. Eric's craftsmanship is evident in his home improvements, when you walk by Eric and Rose's house on the east corner of Malmo Rd and 113A St. Working with wonderful, contributing people like Eric and Rose makes community work fun and satisfying.
