Mission Statement

The mission of the Malmo Community League is to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Edmonton community of Malmo Plains by facilitating a healthy and safe community; more specifically:

1. Promoting and providing affordable developmental, educational, recreation, sports, and social activities at the community level;

2. Developing and enhancing the skills of community league volunteers by providing information, resources, and education;

3. Promoting, facilitating, and celebrating volunteerism at the community level;

4. Providing a multi-dimensional communication network to share pertinent information on relevant issues and emerging trends;

5. Advocating on behalf of the residents on community quality-of-life issues and assisting residents in their role as advocates; and

6. Providing and maintaining a central administrative operation and facilities to achieve these objectives.
