Magellan offer a wide range of antennas and accessories for the MARS reader series.
They allow customers to choose and install the right antennas for their target applications. Antennas and cabling are optimized for use with the MARS readers supporting highest communication speeds between the PJM RFID tags and the MARS readers. They can be tuned for the best performance in the target installation. Magellan Technology will constantly extend its portfolio of antennas and will also develop custom specific antennas on request.

Single Axis Antennas
Single Axis Antennas are PCB based single coil antennas which can be connected to one antenna port of a MARS reader.

Dual Axis Antennas
Dual Axis Antennas are designed to read tags which are presented in vertical orientation to the antenna. They use 2 antenna ports of the MARS reader.

Document Tray Antenna (MDOCA-2505)
As an alternative to the Document Tray Reader (MDOCR-2505) this antenna can be connected to a MARS reader and offer similar performance. This alternative allows for connecting multiple Document Tray Antennas to one MARS reader (e.g. office desks operating many document reading stations in close proximity)

Panel Antenna (MPA-5050)
The panel antenna has a size of 500 x 500 mm and can be used to build gate installations using PJM ItemTag™.


Accessories

RCA Antenna Cable
RCA Antenna cables are specific to MARS readers as they support the superior performance of the PJM protocol. They come in 2 sizes (1.5m, 8.7m).

Antenna Cable Extender
This special connector allows customers to extend the antenna cable length by connecting multiple RCA cables

Antenna Tuning Kit
The Antenna Tuning Kit helps customers to tune MARS antennas to their optimum performance when they have been installed in their intended location.
