Magellan Technology recognizes the importance of global standards and has been deeply involved in RFID standardization work since many years. We also pay particular attention to the requirements of health, safety and regulatory authorities worldwide to ensure that our technology meets not only all functional requirements but also all safety and regulatory requirements.

With the development of the superior PJM protocol it was promoted and accepted as being a viable candidate for the International Standard ISO/IEC 18000 series of RFID standards.

ISO/IEC 18000 covers the air interface for RFID item management at the various frequencies. In August 2004 the PJM protocol was published as the official standard ISO/IEC 18000 Part 3 Mode 2.

Magellan remains highly committed to standardization work and continues its work in ISO and EPC Global standardization bodies.
