About Me:
I've been a teacher here at AHS since 2011, and I LOVE teaching science here! I also love other things...
My family - two kids, an amazing husband, and lots of extended family here in CO!
Travelling - Europe, South America, or just a camping trip... I'm in!
Gardening and cooking- let's be honest, I like food from the moment it comes out of the ground!
Music - did you know I taught piano lessons and played in a band?
Sewing - how many quilts does one house need? More!!!
Why Am I Here?
Again, I LOVE teaching science here at AHS! I never really liked science in high school, but after switching my major 4 different times, physics was about the only major left to try! Taking physics classes turned out to be an incredibly empowering experience for me - how many people get to learn about quantum mechanics?? - and being able to understand how the world around me works gave me a huge confidence boost. I love teaching because I want to give my students that same confidence.
