About this course

This course introduces the students to the basic concepts and techniques of developing computer programs and algorithms for problem solving. Object-oriented programming methodology is used throughout the course to teach the fundamentals of programming. In this course, students learn how to design, implement, test, debug, and document programs. It establishes the foundation on which students are able to develop and appreciate programs in different high-level programming languages such as Java.
