What should I enter into the "Add Fill Up" screen

I'm not sure how I should be adding information into the fill up screen - can you explain to make sure I'm adding it correctly?

In the fill up screen you enter:

Fill Date:  The date you filled up the car - this is important because mileage tracker sorts the data based first on the fill date second on the odometer (to help make sure it tracks multiple fill ups in a day).   Mileage Tracker defaults this value to today's date!

Mileage:  This is the odometer reading on your car - not a trip odometer - the actually running odometer in the car.  Mileage Tracker will use the latest mileage when you enter your next fill up to help ensure you don't have to turn those dials that much!

Octane:  This is optional in all versions, but if you track your octane usage, V1.1 and higher of Mileage Tracker will accumulate your mileage by octane and help you see if it's beneficial to pay that extra cost!  Version 1.1 and higher just separate octane information to low/medium/high grades - as most pumps only have two or three choices, yet the types vary by country.

Quantity: This is the total quantity of gas you pumped at the station, as per the pump reading.  This is the total quantity.

Price:  This might be misleading - this is the price per gallon (or price per unit) of the gas you've bought.  Mileage tracker will extend the price x quantity when totaling up the money you spend on gas.  If you enter total price here, you'll be overstating your gas costs!  We could have been more clear on this in the app, but hopefully, this makes sense!

Happy Driving!
