• “몰몬”이라는 표현은 “몰몬경”, “몰몬 태버나클 합창단”과 같은 적절한 명칭으로서 사용할수 있으며 혹은 “몰몬 개척자”라는 표현과 같이 형용사적인 의미로 사용될 수 있읍니다.
• “몰몬이즘”이라는 표현은 예수 그리스도 후기성도 교회의 독특한 생활 양식, 문화, 혹은 복음 원리를 복합적으로 서술하기에 적절합니다.

While the term "Mormon Church" has long been publicly applied to the Church as a nickname, it is not an authorized title, and the Church discourages its use.

When writing about the Church, please follow these guidelines:

The Associated Press Stylebook notes: “The term Mormon is not properly applied to the other ... churches that resulted from the split after [Joseph] Smith’s death.”
