Large Group Wednesdays at 9:00 PM in Riverview!
This week we will be having worship as well as our chapter President Mike Barnett's Senior Talk. Please join us for our final Large Group of the year! Other Happenings LCF End-of-the-Year Picnic! If you signed up, remember that it is this Saturday starting at 4:00 at City Park (behind the Con) Women's Group- To be determined Men's Group- To be arranged by Tim Webster Worship team- contact Marshall Cuffe or Alex Randazzo Marshall composed a really sweet song for piano and soprano called Insomnia, a setting of a poem by everyone's favorite Freshman Studies poet, Elizabeth Bishop. Carolyn and Marshall will be performing this piece in the Voice Department Area Recital this Thursday at 11:10am in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church (kitty-corner to the con at the corner of Drew St. and Franklin St.) Come hear Marshall's piece performed!!! If you need directions or someone to walk over with, contact a voice major. Small Groups are the perfect way to go deeper into God's word and to grow relationships with other LCFers. The Bible studies are grouped by dorms, but that does not mean you are locked into the one for your dorm - feel free to go to any one that fits your schedule best. Here are the times, locations, and small group leaders of the Bible studies on campus: East Campus (Trever, Sage, Exec Houses, The Quad): Mondays at 9:30pm in the Sage basement with Sarah Chung! Friday Lunch Discussion is a great opportunity to discuss with fellow LCFers issues of faith in every sense. It takes place from 12:20am-1:30pm in Downer E (small dining room past C). So stop by for a bit and enjoy your lunch over an open-ended discussion. Reminders |
