LCF Announcements-Special Finals Week Edition

posted Mar 13, 2009 6:08 PM by Emily Hoffman   [ updated Mar 16, 2009 9:17 PM ]

As it is finals week, all regularly scheduled meetings are cancelled. Take a break from studying Tuesday night from 6-10pm at the Webster's. Come and go as you please :)

Here's a sneak-peek of Term III (I've highlighted the especially awesome parts):

-The first Large Group after break is on Wednesday, April 1. There are plans being made for an LCF party that night in place of regular Large Group actvities. This will be a great opportunity for community building and for just having a good time (before Term III gets too busy!).
-Holy Week (starting April 5) is coming up and there are plans to have special daily prayer meetings...more details to follow.
-It's getting to be that time of year again...Leadership Selection will begin Term III. We encourage everyone to take some time to pray and think about whether God is calling you to take on an LCF leadership role next year.
-A special retreat is being planned for reading period next term. We're going to be "roughing it" up North at the Webster's cabin. This will be a great chance to spend time getting closer to God while being outdoors and off-campus.
-Cedar Campus is the week following Term III final exams. Even though it's pretty far in the future, if you are at all interested you should take it into consideration when planning flights/summer jobs/etc.

All in all, we're going to be doing a lot of exciting things next term and we hope you will join us. Good luck on your exams/papers/etc and safe travels over break!

~Emily
