Buying property at the Lake of the Ozarks has been an excellent investment. Over the past 2 years some areas of the lake have seen appreciation on their Lakefront homes of more than 30%.
I've gathered data from the Lake of the Ozarks Realtor database and put together a few reports. The number of Home Sales for 2008 are down some, but nothing compared to the numbers being given in other areas of the state and across the country. One very important key factor is the average SALES price for a home has increased considerably in almost all areas of the lake.
