Indulging our craving for chocolate-covered mints, 
my friend and I were unable to think of a wine to suit our feast.
We settled for glasses of milk.
Can you suggest a wine to go with chocolate-covered mints?

 

I recently visited a couple of Ontairo wineries.
  I found that any wines which I liked were at least $25/bottle.  That seems too expensive...
I regularly choose Australian and Californian wines --  priced $15-$20 -- which I enjoy
at least as much.  Is there good value to be found in Ontario/VQA wines?

 
I see labels which say "Merlot", or "Shiraz" (etc)...
...but I don't really understand what that means.

This evening we're planning on opening a bottle of Chianti Classico from our cellar. 
 For  stemware, we own  sets of two types fancy red wine glasses.  Both are Riedel crystal,
 the first -- they say -- is designed for Syrah/Shiraz and the second for Bordeaux.
   How do we decide which glasses to use?
