| Hi All, The season is drawing to a close, but it is time to 'get hard' and push on to the end. Tournaments ------------------ It is our last tournament for the year, and numbers are looking down. The tournament is from Wed 12th to Saturday the 15th. So, a couple of requests: 1) If you know someone who belongs to a different club, but should be playing in our tournament, then kick their ass and get them to sign up. 2) Make sure you are entered! Seriously, you need to make sure that you are on the sign up sheet, or that you have received a confirmation from me, otherwise I might have forgotten about you. Winter Interclub ---------------------- Well done to all teams, but a particularly hearty 'way-to-go' to Mens 08 (my team) that won the pennant. Big thanks goes to Don Wilkinson who continually inspired us to victory (actually he bribed us with promises of free beer if we won). Spring Pennant ---------------------- Spring pennant draws got sent out this afternoon, and I will be sorting contact details out with captains tomorrow, so expect a call. First games are Monday/Tuesday the 10th/11th. Sponsorship ----------------- The club needs your help. We have our last tournament of the year coming up and we need any sponsorship we can get. Also, we have three tournaments next year that need major sponsors. There are a number of club members who help out the club in this way, and a number that put pressure on their bosses or spouses to help us. Please let me know if you can assist. Thats all, Glen. |
