Spring Pennant ---------------------- Spring Pennant Interclub will be starting on the 10th of September. I need to have all entrants to me by Friday the 24th of August so that I can put the teams together. If Winter Interclub team captains can talk to their members that would be much appreciated. Tournaments ------------------ We have a whole heap of tournaments coming up over the next month or two. We start off with the Kumeu B Grade tournament, which will run from Wed 12th September to Sat 15th September. Please send entries to squash.tournament@kumeuracquetsclub.org. After that we have the club graded champs (October 3rd-6th), and then the club open champs (October 17th-20th). There are signup sheets at the club, or email to squash.tournament@kumeuracquetsclub.org. We are going to need help with the running of these tournaments, so please let us know if you can help. Who's Ya Daddy ----------------------- The results from 'Who's Ya Daddy' are in, and congratulations have to go to Bruce Jeffries (aka Bruiser). Stiff competition was had from Stu, James A, Phil, Jacko and John, but at the end of the day trickery, treachery and bloody infuriating reverse boasts at the front of the court were enough to clinch it for Bruce. The word on the street is that the party held at Rancho Jacko was slightly less debauched than normal, but all parties vow to set the bar higher next year. Thats it from me, Glen. |
