NZ Age Group Championships
After winning the 16s Teams event earlier in the tournament Mary O'Connor and Luke Charlesworth won 7 individual titles between them.

For Luke Charlesworth, it was another win over Counties Manukau player Praveen Tayalan in the singles. Luke then combined with Waitakere's Tim Chow to win the Doubles (to back up the 14s title they won in 2005) and with Jessica Jonggowisastro to take out the mixed doubles. This is the third year Luke has won a Mixed Doubles title at the NZ Age Group Championships, having partnered Mary O'Connor when they won the 14s Mixed in 2005 and 2006. Waitakere's Sam Rimmer was on the other side of the court in the Mixed final - so either way Waitakere was going have a win in this event.
