Well the source server we had has been down over a week now. The hardrive was wiped :( However it was just a test run anyway. We now have plans to get a more reliable server which should finalize this week. As Jobo, Hartman, Jeistd and I are the mainly the ones still playing and interested in getting it back up -we are pooling resources and will hopefully have a nice low ping 100 tic rate. server soon. If you want to contribute to this cause please visit cs-ant's website and use the donate button there. We are also contemplating a name change as well. We all love KrezerJ, but it is Alex's domain(and his in game name) and he might have another use for it some day than hosting a server for our community as he has other matters that he is spending time on that CS. We are discussing names and are pretty happy with one ( but we haven't purchased the domain yet). We will keep you posted. Becoming something else will be bitter-sweet for us, but better to start our new server with the new name than transition later and confuse people. Only about 20 of you or so have expressed interest in a source server, and fewer play regurarly. Hopefully we will have thriving community once again soon with fresh faces and fast friends. Last night after everyone was off, I went ahead and added a show damage
done /received plugin to the source server. As well as a rockethvote
(havent added nominations yet though I think). Also deathbeams, and a
bot control menu for admins. For the admins typing sm_help will give
the two related commands for the latter plugins. On a side note, BigD,
my gtalk is this address, can you IM me when you get a chance?

Fyi- the source server is down right now. (since mid afternoon on the 7th) I went ahead and set up a mirror at home so I could play with settings and plugins. Hopefully I will have some more updates this weekend, once Kosovar checks on the status of the box for us. I mentioned before that I liked the servers at christiancs.com for the similar rules and attitude as our community. However for me, and it appears much of the south my ping is well over 100. My ping on http://www.urbanbushido.net/ servers is usually under 50 and it has the same rules as well, though my experience has been the admins are a little slow to enforce them at times. Anyway happy gaming. Oh, one other thing. Wednesday night Sgt. Hartman, Alex, and I (and sometimes Aeloi) faced off on dust 2 agasint 6 bots. It was alot of fun. Maybe theres a plugin for cooperative play like that I will have to see.

I have added an admins only group (you can see it as a link on the left). If you are an admin and wish to obtain the rcon password for the source server as well as get help with commands as I add them please follow the link and apply. I will approve you when I get a chance.
